Social cost of your blackness in the Americas

For a generation so many young blacks left college with the goal to live as a shard of glass reflecting white access. All done in the middle of an America built on Slavery, and grounded by Jim Crow. But no 60 hour dream job, multicultural work photo where you’re alone on the end, or no amount of pictures next to white life will serve as an erasure for the completeness of the social cost of your blackness in America.

We are so ashamed of who we are we don't even want to honor our ancestors by demanding reparations for centuries of hateful violence and forced unappreciated and unpaid labor. Higher learning often takes young black minds further away from defending their people. White people are just plain tired of our weakness - it reveals our lack of integrity.
